LE CYRANO

About us
In a small street close to the metro hides a tiny bar, a period bistro which in the 19th century was called Les Porcherons, and whose decor has been intact since 1914! We never tire of contemplating the high ceilings, the mosaic stained glass windows, its beautiful oval mirror behind the zinc, the paintings by local artists exhibited there for a thousand years ... Even the clientele is a spectacle, a mixture of sores, actors and singers playing the neighboring European, and eccentric characters, punks, oddballs, alcoholics, transvestites who come and go during the day between their work, their home and their headquarters. Eccentrics, the Cyrano has known them at all times, since it is here that the sessions of the surrealists were held at the beginning of the 20th century, under the presidency of André Breton, with Aragon, Man Ray, René Crevel, Max Ernst , Dali, a true paradise for artists. In this den, you can drink an arranged rum chosen from a small collection, a good glass of wine and nibble on sandwiches and tapas at aperitif time.
